PUSH ortho AFO
Indications: drop foot associated with stroke, MS, postpolio syndrome, post surgery, post partum. Can also be used as a plantar fasciitis night splint.
Innovative design allows for a natural gait, and makes safe and efficient walking possible again.
Lifts the foot during swing phase, controls plantar flexion after heel strike, and then allows for unimpeded rolling of the foot. Also offers lateral stability to the ankle joint
Adjustable elastic straps allow for customization of the degree of dynamic foot lift during the swing phase, based on each user’s needs.
On heel strike, the straps ensure well-controlled plantar flexion. Allows flexion and extension in the ankle joint during stance phase, and engages the calf muscles during the rolling of the foot.
Doesn’t depend on a shoe to hold it in place, since the straps hold the orthosis firmly to the foot. Can be worn with light footwear, even slippers.
