Back pain during pregnancy can be challenging. With medical approval and supervision, the Spinova® Mum provides support by lifting the abdomen with adjustable strength to relieve the back. The lumbar orthosis straightens the spine and reduces a hollow back with integrated corset stays. The intuitively designed belt system stabilizes the pelvis and alleviates sacroiliac joint discomfort through circular compression. ISG pads offer additional relief by relaxing ligaments, easing tension in the back, pelvis, and hips, and improving circulation. These pads can be individually adjusted or removed by specialists in consultation with a doctor.
The soft abdominal closure and adjustable tension straps of the orthosis sit below the abdomen so no pressure is applied to the belly. A long Velcro area allows for easy adaptation to the growing belly during pregnancy and the shrinking abdomen postpartum. Lightweight and breathable, the Spinova® Mum offers a high wearing comfort thanks to its elastic, skin-friendly mesh material.
